ผมอยากให้คุณช่วยเล่าจุดเริ่มต้น กับการมาสนใจในการทำงานศิลปะของคุณ ?
สารานุกรมและหนังสือเกี่ยวกับสัตว์ป่าที่อยู่ในบ้านของผม เป็นข้อมูลพื้นฐานในการสร้างสัตว์ประหลาดต่างๆ รวมไปถึงสายพันธุ์ของสัตว์ตามจินตนาการของผม ประมาณตอนผมอายุ 18 ปี เพื่อนสนิทแนะนำให้ผมรู้จักกับโลกของงานกราฟฟิตี้ ซึ่งในตอนนั้นผมเรียนในด้านเศรษฐศาสตร์อยู่ด้วย พอหลังจากนั้นผมก็สนใจด้านศิลปะสไตล์นี้มากขึ้นแล้วก็เริ่มลงมือทำบนกำแพงและวาดรูปต่างๆ ใส่ในแต่ละหน้าของหนังสือคณิตศาสตร์ แล้วผมก็ตัดสินใจที่จะออกจากโลกของเศรษฐศาสตร์และเริ่มต้นศึกษาพวกงานภาพประกอบและการออกแบบกราฟิก ในโรงเรียนสอนศิลปะและการออกแบบของเมืองบาเลนเซีย ในสเปน
ผมรู้มาว่าสมัยเด็กๆ คุณสนใจและคลุกคลีอยุ่กับสัตว์มาตลอด นั่นจึงเป็นแรงบันดาลใจให้คุณ ?
ช่วงแรกๆ ผมเคยดูแลนกมากกว่า 500 ตัวที่พ่อของผมยกให้ เขารักที่จะดูพวกมันเติบโตเช่นเดียวกับสุนัข, ปลา, ม้าหรือแม้กระทั่งตัวผม ซึ่งก็ถูกล้อมรอบไปด้วยสิ่งเหล่านี้ในวิถีของคนชนบท แล้วในช่วงนั้นงานของผมก็เริ่มต้นด้วยแรงบันดาลใจจากสัตว์ที่มีอยู่ในโน็ตบุคส์มากขึ้น
คาแรคเตอร์ของคุณ คุณมีวิธีคิดและการออกแบบเป็นอย่างไรบ้าง ?
ทุกวันนี้ผมก็ทำงานในสายกราฟิก, จิตรกรรม, ภาพวาด, งานปั้น, งานโฆษณาหรือแม้กระทั่งงานภาพเคลื่อนไหวต่างๆ คือบางส่วนของข้อมูลที่ผมทำงาน ต้องมีวินัยซึ่งเป็นความท้าทายใหม่ๆ แล้วผมก็มักจะมองผ่านสายตาของเด็กที่เต็มไปด้วยโลกเหนือจริงและรายละเอียดของจินตนาการต่างๆ ที่ผมได้รับมา
คุณคิดว่าเสน่ห์ของสัตว์ ที่ทำให้คุณชอบมัน คืออะไร ?
ผมได้รับข้อมูลมาตลอดจากสารานุกรมเกี่ยวกับสัตว์ป่าและหนังสือภาพประกอบ รวมไปถึงศึกษาลักษณะทางกายวิภาคและพฤติกรรมของสัตว์ ซึ่งพวกมันก็จะอยู่ในสมองและข้อมูลในตัวผมตลอด แล้วก็ถูกแปลออกมาเป็นงานศิลปะ เหมือนผมเป็นนักชีววิทยาทางศิลปะ ซึ่งนั่นมันเป็นสิ่งที่ผมชอบมากๆ เลยนะ
งานของคุณจะเป็นการผสมผสานคาแรคเตอร์และมีรูปแบบของธีมเซอร์เรียลลิสต์ ?
มันเป็นโลกที่ยอดเยี่ยมและมีสถิตยศาสตร์จากจุดเริ่มต้นของผม ผมได้ทำงานอยู่ในโลกส่วนตัวและจินตนาการที่เป็นพื้นฐานในรูปแบบของการทำงานต่างๆ ซึ่งผมรวมลักษณะเหล่านี้ในการทำงานทั้งหมด เพราะผมคิดว่ามันเป็นสิ่งสำคัญที่จะให้ตัวเองได้รับการดำเนินการด้วยจินตนาการที่จะเดินในโลกนี้ได้โดยไม่ต้องสร้างจินตนาการ ไม่มีโชคชะตา ไม่มีความฝัน ไม่มีอารมณ์ ซึ่งในการทำงานของผมจะเป็นสิ่งที่อยู่ในชีวิตประจำวันผมมากที่สุดและมีความฝันที่จะหลอมรวมเป็นงานศิลปะที่เราสามารถสังเกตุและมองเห็นความลึกลับเหล่านั้นได้
หลักๆ คอนเซปต์ในผลงานของคุณ ที่สื่อออกมาคืออะไร ?
มันอาจจะแค่นิดเดียวเท่านั้นสำหรับคอนเซปต์ทั้งหมด เพราะบางทีผมเองก็ยังไม่แน่ใจว่าผลงานต่างๆ ที่ออกมา มันเป็นวิวัฒนาการที่เกิดขึ้นในงานหรือมันอาจจะเป็นเส้นชัยหรือจะเป็นเพียงแค่ข้อความนึงเท่านั้น นี่คงเป็นการต่อสู้อย่างต่อเนื่องกับตัวผมเอง ในการพยายามที่จะเอาชนะ
ดูเหมือนคอนเซปต์ของคุณอาจจะเกี่ยวข้องกับการเดินทาง ?
คือพวกเราอาศัยอยู่ในภาวะการเดินทางที่เป็นชีวิตของเราเองอยู่แล้ว เราก็ต้องเดินอยู่เสมอ คอยสังเกตการณ์และวิเคราะห์แล้วจับทุกความเป็นจริงที่เกิดขึ้นกับสภาพแวดล้อมของเราที่จะใช้มันหรือให้มันมีความหมายในแบบของเรา ซึ่งช่วงเวลาที่เราหยุดเดินเราอาจจะหยุดฝันไปเลยก็ได้
เทคนิคในการทำงานของคุณ ผมเห็นว่าคุณชำนาญทั้งเพ้นท์ติ้งและสเปรย์ ?
ในสตูดิโอที่ผมทำงาน จะเต็มไปด้วยเทคนิคที่แตกต่างกัน แต่งานบนถนนผมจะเน้นด้วยเทคนิคสเปรย์และงานสีอะคริลิค เพราะทำงานได้เร็วและช่วยการทำงานบนพื้นที่ขนาดใหญ่ได้ดีกว่า แต่มันก็ไม่ได้มีพื้นผิวและความรู้สึกของสีอะคริลิคเท่าไหร่นัก ดังนั้นผมจึงพยายามที่จะผสมทั้งสองอย่างเข้าด้วยกัน แต่มันจะเป็นเรื่องที่ดีกว่าถ้าคุณจะมีเทคนิคของคุณเองสำหรับทุกสิ่งที่คุณทำให้กับงานศิลปะของคุณเอง

งานศิลปะบนกำเเพงของคุณ คุณต้องการให้สังคมและประชาชนที่ชมงานของคุณ ได้รับอะไรกับผลงานที่คุณทำ ?
ศิลปะมีอิทธิพลสำหรับผู้ที่สนใจในงานศิลปะต่อมุมมองของตัวเองหรือในสไตล์ของตัวศิลปินเอง การวิเคราะห์ผลงานศิลปะเป็นไปอย่างอิสระเสรีและเป็นที่ชัดเจนว่ามีเพียงคนที่สนใจในการที่จะทำมัน ศิลปินถ่ายทอดความรู้สึกของเขาเป็นข้อความออกมา ซึ่งภารกิจเหล่านี้เป็นของผู้ชมว่าจะได้รับอิทธิพลจากการทำงานของศิลปินไปมากน้อยเพียงใด
คุณพอจะรู้อะไรเกี่ยวกับงานศิลปะในเมืองไทยหรืองานสตรีทอาร์ทในเมืองไทยบ้างมั้ย ?
ไม่เลย ผมไม่ทราบอะไรเท่าไหร่ในตอนนี้ แต่ผมก็อยากจะรู้เหมือนกันนะ
แรงบันดาลใจในการคิดงานศิลปะของคุณ นอกจากสัตว์แล้ว คุณมีอะไรอย่างอื่นบ้างมั้ยที่เป็นแรงบันดาลใจของคุณ ?
จากจุดเริ่มต้น ผมได้มุ่งเน้นไปที่การทำงานของผมอยู่กับการวิเคราะห์พัฒนาแนวความคิดสัณฐานวิทยาของสัตว์ป่าที่ ตอนนี้ผมพบว่าตัวเองอยู่ในขั้นตอนที่กำลังวิเคราะห์สถานการณ์ที่อยู่อาศัยของสัตว์เหล่านี้ที่เป็นส่วนนึงของดาวเคราะห์ดวงเดียวกัน แต่ผมเองก็ไม่ได้โฟกัสเรื่องเหล่านี้เต็ม 100 เปอร์เซ็นต์หรอกนะ มันก็จะมีส่วนอื่นอยู่บ้าง
ในปี 2016 ที่ผ่านมา คุณประทับใจอะไรต่อการทำงานศิลปะของคุณที่สุด ?
ในปี 2016 ผมพยายามที่จะพัฒนางานของผมในรูปแบบและเทกเจอร์ใหม่ๆ ที่ผมหวังว่าจะสร้างสรรค์มันในปี 2017 นี้ให้ได้และพยายามเติบโตขึ้นในฐานะศิลปิน

Interview : ‘Dulk’ Street Artist Of Wildlife
I want you to tell us at the beginning. With the interest in your art work ?
The encyclopedias and books of wild beasts that were in my house were the basic information to create monsters and imaginary species of animals. At the age of 18 a close friend from me introduced to the world of graffiti. This coincided with my principles in economics studying college. After a year of drawing and painting both in the streets and in the math books of the university, I decided to leave the world of economics and start studying illustration and later graphic design in the school of art and design of Valencia.
Childhood interest you and get in touch with a lot of animals coming through. That inspires you ?
From an early age, I helped to take care for the more than 500 birds that my father raised. He loved to watch them grow, as with dogs, fish, or horses I was surrounded by in the country house of my family. My strokes on notebooks representing animals began very early.
Your character You have a way of thinking and design, how are you ?
Today, I’m an off-road graphic artist. Painting, drawing, sculpture, advertising or animation are some of the fields in which I work, every discipline is a new challenge. I always look through the eyes of a child, a child who creates tragicomedias Chromatic and allegories to an extinction every day closer to the living beings of the planet we inhabit. His surreal world is full of imaginary details and stories between characters trying to escape an impending catastrophe.
Do you think the appeal of the animals. Did you like it ?
I’ve always been fascinated by encyclopedias and wildlife illustration books. Studying their anatomy and behaviors is something that has grown inside me and translating it inside of me as an artistic biologist is a position in which I feel very comfortable.
Your character is a combination & surrealist of style. I was right ?
I have always been interested in fantastic worlds and surrealism, from my beginnings I have worked in the personal worlds and in the imagination as a basis in any type of work. I incorporate these characteristics in my works because I consider that it is essential to let oneself be carried by the imagination to walk in this world, without imagination there is no destiny, there are no dreams, there is no emotion. In my works the most everyday reality and dreams are fused as an artistic representation that seeks to create in us a need for observation and mystery.
Overview Concept your art ?
Little by little I get to know him but never got to get it, that’s why the evolution and the search for new finishes or messages. This is a constant struggle against yourself in an attempt to overcome infinite.
I think it looks like a concept about the journey ?
We live within a journey that is our own life, we simply have to walk always observers and analyze and then capture every fact that happens to our surroundings to apply it or give it a meaning in our own way. The moment we stop walking we will stop dreaming
Techniques in Your Work spray & painting. You can make a very good ?
In the studio I work with many different technics but on the street I focus my technics on spray and acrylic painting. Spray works faster and help me to work on big scales but not has to texture and the sense of the acrylic, so I try to mix both to get what I have on mind. It’s nice to have your own technic for everything you do, it gives to the artwork a personal touch which do it unique.
You begin by learning the art of illustration and graphic design work and when you try to work with painting & spray on the walls, a large scale. How do you deal with it like ?
The study is where I create works that have another function, a function of lasting in time. They are different disciplines, a place is more spontaneous and the other is much more methodical, much more dedicated and where you are allowed a greater degree of control over the work.The street is exposed to all kinds of conditions much more difficult to control for someone like me, I like to have everything under control, perhaps that is why the studio allows me to work with more comfort, I like every time more.However I need the side of the street to feel really free, is another part of me, was born as a rebellious part when I started to paint walls, and is not the same, but it is the most similar to then. It makes me excel, grow and learn the same or more than in the studio, working on big scales is a way to test yourself, to see how far I can go, and I love that. The street brought me in his day need to translate my sketches into the walls and this resulted in security and effort to get good designs.
You know, I’ve followed your work first. When I saw on website. Which of you is that you do galore festival in 2013, I liked the piece very much. It is strange and the people working in this style as well. It also includes the charming and unique on every element of your work ?
That piece in Galore was my bigger piece until that moment, was the first “Big wall” that I did alone, so I have a very special regard of it. I try to develope my own view from the things, from the characters that I represent. From the need to explore and see beyond reality I sink into the world of dreams and I search in games of shapes and colors that form worlds parallel to ourselves, existing but hidden from reality. Worlds, many times absurd and other significant and iconic that keep details of my person and my need for representing the corners of my interior. Dreams and the world of imagination is a topic that fascinates me, the development of inner worlds, characters, fantastic stories, see it As you mix real concepts and others not so real.
Your art on wall. You want the society and people watch your work. Has nothing to do with the work you do ?
Art is influential for people interested in the art itself or in the artist’s own style. Analyzing an artistic work is free and it is clear that only the people interested in it will do it. The artist transmits his feelings as a necessity with himself, as messages that need to come out and do it in the form of plastic works. This does not mean that it will always be analyzed, it is the viewer’s mission to be influenced by the work.
Do you know anything about art in Thailand or street art in Thailand ?
Not, I don’t know anything for now, but I would like.
Inspired to think your art. The animal What else do you know who inspires you ?
From the beginning of my existence I have focused my work on the analysis of the conceptual development of the morphology of the wildlife. Right now I find myself in a stage where I am analyzing the situation in which these inhabitants of the planet are found, of whom we feel owners for no reason at all. I am not focused 100 percent on being an environmental advocate, it simply arises from within me, but not as a manifestation, it is simply a subliminal message within my work.
In the past 2016 years, what is your impression of the work of art you most ?
This 2016 I’ve been trying to develop my work on new themes and textures, I hope to continue with it with this next 2017 and try to grow as an artist.
